If you can’t trust yourself to tell people what you need done or reliably trust your people to do the job, then you won’t have the time to address all your work concerns. You need to know when and how to delegate and organize your team to create an solid work environment. Being a supervisor is being a leader who can trust people to produce when asked.

By knowing how to delegate work you are able to build trust among your employees. They feel they are able to assist you in important day to day issues. Delegating is a way to grow and mature employees. How are you ever going to know their potential if you don’t test the waters every now and then.
